This is an excellent
specimen of a 1940 Cadillac LaSalle 52 Special
Touring Sedan that has recently come out of a
private collection and been consigned with us.
PLEASE - NO TRADES!! We also have the twin
to it, minus the sun visor. (See adjoining
photo) The LaSalle was produced from 1927
to 1940 to bridge the gap between the soaring
prices of the Cadillac and compete with Buick.
It was more agile and stylish yet an
elegant counterpoint to Cadillac's larger cars.
The 1940 and final LaSalle was introduced in in
October 1939 and is considered the most popular
model by many collectors. This vehicle
weighs 3900 lbs. and originally listed for
$1,440. This vehicle has a 322 ci/130hp
V-8 flathead engine (that purrs!!), 4
speed manual transmission, butterfly-style hood
and original-like mohair interior. MUST
SEE to appreciate!! $28,900.00
