#Cadillac Twin Consign |
Other Info:
This is the
"twin" to the other 1940
Cadillac LaSalle 52 Special Touring Sedan we
have on consignment that has recently come out
of a private collection PLEASE - NO TRADES!! This
vehicle's odometer, however, is not working so
we cannot verify exact mileage, it does not have the
sunvisor, and the trim on the headrest in the
back seat is leather-like product. (See
the photos of the other burgundy LaSalle,
as they are identical with the following
exceptions reflected here). The LaSalle was
produced from 1927 to 1940 to bridge the gap
between the soaring prices of the Cadillac and
compete with Buick. It was more agile and
stylish yet an elegant counterpoint to
Cadillac's larger cars. The 1940 and final
LaSalle was introduced in in October 1939 and is
considered the most popular model by many
collectors. This vehicle weighs 3900 lbs.
and originally listed for $1,440. This vehicle
has a 322 ci/130hp V-8 flathead engine (that
purrs!!), 4 speed manual transmission,
butterfly-style hood and original-like
mohair interior. MUST SEE to appreciate!!
$28,900.00.
